Do you know a net-zero hero? Nominations are closing soon for Holyrood’s Green Giant Awards at Glasgow Science Centre.
The green Giant Awards, hosted by comedian Craig Hill, celebrate the outstanding achievements of people and projects going above and beyond to deliver net-zero in Scotland.
Following the success of the inaugural Awards at our COP26 Fringe Festival in 2021, this year’s
awards will be an opportunity to celebrate climate change successes within Scotland’s public, private and third sectors.
If you know any organisations, projects or individuals that deserve recognition for their work on climate change, nominate them now.
It's free and easy to place a nomination - nominations close on Friday 23 September.
This award focuses on the work of young people in galvanizing the climate change movement in Scotland.
Technology and Innovation Award
This award recognises an individual, team or organisation that has demonstrated outstanding work in the field of climate technology.
Scotland’s Champion Award
This award recognises individuals who have demonstrated a significant contribution to Climate Justice in Scotland or from Scotland to the world.
Diversity and Inclusion Award
This award recognises an individual, team, group or network that is dedicated to improving diversity and inclusion in climate action.
Nature and the Environment Award This award recognises the incredible work being done by groups or organisations to protect and enhance Scotland’s natural capital and biodiversity.
